My friend Ben Wells just put down fifty somalians on a 3DS for me in Tucson, AZ. You see, I am going to be there on tour and I wanted to make sure that I got one on launch day! CRISIS AVERTED. THANKS BEN…
Anyways, I am really digging Radiant Historia so far. This game is very quantum leap. Each plot point has different ways you can solve it by going back in time and opening up different story arcs. You can go back and re-do events as much as you want so it’s pretty much a completionist’s dream. Music is killer too. Alright back to watching Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest with Sierra
I just picked up Radiant Historia for my DS. It’s a time travel rpg, a la Chrono Trigger. So far it has been quite remarkable. Really fantastic music and art direction. I’m only about thirty minutes in so far but I’m eager to play more.
I can’t decide if I want to use this blog for tour or to talk about videogames so I’m going to use it for both. I will talk about playing videogames on tour. It is going to be excellent. Playing videogames on tour is great because you can place yourself in a box when shit gets super hairy or really annoying. And trust me, that is going to happen.
I would definitely describe myself as an escapist in this regard. When shit sucks, I just do something that doesn’t suck and everything gets better over time. This usually isn’t the best way to deal with things, but I will do it nonetheless. No big deal, really. Some people drink, some people play videogames, I’m going to do both.
As for the games that I will be bringing along for the Hell Ride up to New Jersey: Y’s 7, Persona 3 Portable, Breath of Fire 3, and Valkyria Chronicles 2. Boom, lots of stupid gay nerdy stuff for psp. I recently acquired Steam for my new MacBook Pro so I will be playing a few titles from the SHITTY selection of mac games steam has provided for download. There is no internet on our horse and buggy ride so I will stick to single player while we’re on the road.
First up on the list to play is Persona 3 Portable. I’m not totally sure but I think I’m at least 50% done with this game already… It has been great so far.
